​Sam began his career working for Stark Bros Engineering at Lyttelton, and spent his Boilermaker apprenticeship working in the bowels of fishing boats and dry docks.

In 20xx he shifted to Texco Drilling & Piling Ltd, and began working on drilling and piling rigs before moving into a Contract Manager role. He gained extensive knowledge of welding and drilling in remote and tight sites, and how to problem solve when available gear wasn't always fit for purpose.

In 2020 Sam established his welding and fabrication business All Metal Welding, and has built a solid clientele with a focus on .......

Sam has two full time employees and a solid collaboration with other contractors he can rely on to support larger jobs. 

Outside of work, Sam is a keen skiier, surfer and jet boater - which has led to him building (and continually repairing) aluminium boats of his own from scratch, and fabricating hulls for others.
